  • 4. فَكَانَتْ كَلِمَةُ YAHWEH إِلَيَّ قَائِلًا:

  • Then the word of YAHWEH came unto me, saying,
  • Vino, pues, la palabra de YAHWEH a mí, diciendo:
  • 5. «قَبْلَمَا صَوَّرْتُكَ فِي الْبَطْنِ عَرَفْتُكَ، وَقَبْلَمَا خَرَجْتَ مِنَ الرَّحِمِ قَدَّسْتُكَ. جَعَلْتُكَ نَبِيًّا لِلشُّعُوبِ».

  • 6. فَقُلْتُ: «آهِ، يَا الرّٰبُّ YAHWEH، إِنِّي لَا أَعْرِفُ أَنْ أَتَكَلَّمَ لِأَنِّي وَلَدٌ».

  • Then said I, Ah, Lord YAHWEH! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

  • 7. فَقَالَ YAHWEH لِي: «لَا تَقُلْ إِنِّي وَلَدٌ، لِأَنَّكَ إِلَى كُلِّ مَنْ أُرْسِلُكَ إِلَيْهِ تَذْهَبُ وَتَتَكَلَّمُ بِكُلِّ مَا آمُرُكَ بِهِ.

  • But YAHWEH said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatsoever I command you you shall speak.

  • 8. لَا تَخَفْ مِنْ وُجُوهِهِمْ، لِأَنِّي أَنَا مَعَكَ لِأُنْقِذَكَ، يَقُولُ YAHWEH».

  • Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, says YAHWEH.

  • 9. وَمَدَّ YAHWEH يَدَهُ وَلَمَسَ فَمِي، وَقَالَ YAHWEH لِي: «هَا قَدْ جَعَلْتُ كَلَامِي فِي فَمِكَ.

  • 10. اُنْظُرْ! قَدْ وَكَّلْتُكَ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ عَلَى الشُّعُوبِ وَعَلَى الْمَمَالِكِ، لِتَقْلَعَ وَتَهْدِمَ وَتُهْلِكَ وَتَنْقُضَ وَتَبْنِيَ وَتَغْرِسَ».

  • See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

  • 11. ثُمَّ صَارَتْ كَلِمَةُ YAHWEH إِلَيَّ قَائِلًا: «مَاذَا أَنْتَ رَاءٍ يَا إِرْمِيَا؟» فَقُلْتُ: «أَنَا رَاءٍ قَضِيبَ لَوْزٍ».

  • Moreover the word of YAHWEH came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what see you? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

  • 12. فَقَالَ YAHWEH لِي: «أَحْسَنْتَ الرُّؤْيَةَ، لِأَنِّي أَنَا سَاهِرٌ عَلَى كَلِمَتِي لِأُجْرِيَهَا».

  • Then said YAHWEH unto me, You have well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

  • 13. ثُمَّ صَارَتْ كَلِمَةُ YAHWEH إِلَيَّ ثَانِيَةً قَائِلًا: «مَاذَا أَنْتَ رَاءٍ؟» فَقُلْتُ: «إِنِّي رَاءٍ قِدْرًا مَنْفُوخَةً، وَوَجْهُهَا مِنْ جِهَةِ الشِّمَالِ».

  • Then YAHWEH said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

  • 15. لِأَنِّي هَأَنَذَا دَاعٍ كُلَّ عَشَائِرِ مَمَالِكِ الشِّمَالِ، يَقُولُ YAHWEH، فَيَأْتُونَ وَيَضَعُونَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ كُرْسِيَّهُ فِي مَدْخَلِ أَبْوَابِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَعَلَى كُلِّ أَسْوَارِهَا حَوَالَيْهَا، وَعَلَى كُلِّ مُدُنِ يَهُوذَا.

  • For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says YAHWEH; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
  • Porque he aquí que yo convoco a todas las familias de los reinos del norte, dice YAHWEH; y vendrán, y pondrán cada uno su trono a la entrada de las puertas de Jerusalém, y junto a todos sus muros alrededor, y junto a todas las ciudades de Judá.
  • 16. وَأُقِيمُ دَعْوَايَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَرِّهِمْ، لِأَنَّهُمْ تَرَكُونِي وَبَخَّرُوا لِآلِهَةٍ أُخْرَى، وَسَجَدُوا لِأَعْمَالِ أَيْدِيهِمْ.
  • wa'uqimdaewayealaakullsharrihimli'annahumtarakuniwabakhkharuulialihat'ukhraa,wasajaduuli'aemal'aydihim
  • And I will utter my judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
  • Y proferiré mis juicios contra ellos, a causa de toda su maldad, porque me dejaron e incensaron a dioses extraños, y adoraron la obra de sus manos.
  • 17. «أَمَّا أَنْتَ فَنَطِّقْ حَقْوَيْكَ وَقُمْ وَكَلِّمْهُمْ بِكُلِّ مَا آمُرُكَ بِهِ. لَا تَرْتَعْ مِنْ وُجُوهِهِمْ لِئَلَّا أُرِيعَكَ أَمَامَهُمْ.

  • You therefore gird up your loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command you: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound you before them.
  • Tú, pues, ciñe tus lomos, y levántate, y diles todo lo que te mande; no temas delante de ellos, para que no te haga yo quebrantar delante de ellos.
  • 18. هَأَنَذَا قَدْ جَعَلْتُكَ الْيَوْمَ مَدِينَةً حَصِينَةً وَعَمُودَ حَدِيدٍ وَأَسْوَارَ نُحَاسٍ عَلَى كُلِّ الْأَرْضِ، لِمُلُوكِ يَهُوذَا وَلِرُؤَسَائِهَا وَلِكَهَنَتِهَا وَلِشَعْبِ الْأَرْضِ.
  • ha'anadhaqadjaealtukalyawmmadinatanhasinatanwaeamudhadidwa'aswarnuhasealaakullal'ardilimulukyahudhawaliruasayihawalikahanatihawalishaebal'ardi
  • For, behold, I have made you this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brazen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.
  • Porque he aquí que yo te he puesto en este día como ciudad fortificada, como columna de hierro, y como muro de bronce, contra toda esta tierra, contra los reyes de Judá, sus príncipes, sus sacerdotes, y el pueblo de la tierra.
  • 19. فَيُحَارِبُونَكَ وَلَا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَيْكَ، لِأَنِّي أَنَا مَعَكَ، يَقُولُ YAHWEH، لِأُنْقِذَكَ».
  • fayuharibunakwalayaqdirunealaykali'anni'anamaeaka,yaqulYAHWEH,li'unqidhaka
  • And they shall fight against you; but they shall not prevail against you; for I am with you, says YAHWEH, to deliver you.
  • Y pelearán contra ti, pero no te vencerán; porque yo estoy contigo, dice YAHWEH, para librarte.
